Summary

Mita and her classmates go on a school trip to Bandel Church with their history teacher. As they travel, the teacher asks if anyone has been there before. Mita says she has, but the teacher stops her from saying too much so that it stays a surprise.

On the way, Sunita asks why they are visiting this church. The teacher explains that some places are fun to visit, while others help us learn about history and culture. She tells them that Bandel Church is one of the oldest churches in West Bengal. It was built a long time ago and shows the history of the Portuguese people in Bengal. This makes the students curious, and they ask more questions about why old buildings are important.
