Summary:

Anne Frank got a diary on her 13th birthday and named it “Kitty.” She treated it like a close friend and wrote about her daily life, thoughts, and feelings. Even though she had family and friends, she often felt lonely. Writing in her diary helped her feel better. She shared her joys, fears, and dreams, especially during the hard times when her family had to hide because of the war. The diary became her way of expressing herself.

Answer: 

Raja Ram Mohan Roy was born on 22nd May 1772 in Bengal. He was a great scholar and learned many languages, including Arabic, Persian, Sanskrit, and English.He worked to improve society and founded the Brahmo Samaj to promote fairness and reason in religion. He helped stop the cruel practice of Sati, where widows had to burn themselves on their husband's funeral pyre. Raja Rammohan Roy wrote books on different topics and traveled to Tibet and England. He passed away on 27th September 1833 in Bristol, England. His efforts made India a better place, and he is remembered as the Father of Indian Renaissance.

 Write a summary of the following prose passage:

The story of “Androcles and the lion” is very famous. Androcals had hide himself in a cage when he saw a lion coming towards him. He feared that the lion would eat him. But the lion was limping and eat appeared to be in great pain. Androcles approached the lion with courage, took up the lion’s paw and took out the large splinter of food which had caused the flesh to rot. The lion was soon relieved of pain and it was very grateful to Androcles. Afterwards, when Androcles was taken prisoner and send to Rome to be delivered up to the wild beasts, a lion was let loose to eat him. It was the same lion that Androcles had relieved in his pain. The animal remember with gratitude its saviour and instead of eating him rubbed its hate on the feet of Androcles.

Androcles, a runaway slave, helps a wounded lion by removing a painful splinter from its paw. The lion becomes grateful. Later, when Androcles is captured and taken to Rome to face a wild lion in an arena, it turns out to be the same one he helped. Instead of attacking, the lion remembers his kindness and shows affection, proving that good deeds are always rewarded.The story of Androcles and the Lion teaches us about kindness and gratitude.
